Hajj Welfare Staff
The Ghana Hajj Board is a government agency responsible for organizing and overseeing the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca for Muslims in Ghana. The board’s primary role is to ensure that the pilgrimage is conducted smoothly and efficiently, providing necessary support and welfare services to Ghanaian pilgrims during their journey.

Their responsibilities may include assisting with travel arrangements, providing medical support, offering guidance on religious rituals, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise during the pilgrimage.

Travel & Logistics Support✈️
Assistance with flight bookings and transportation coordination and also help navigating airport procedures and transitions between travel legs
Pilgrim Relations & Issue Resolution👥
Welfare staff available to address complaints, lost items, and personal concerns as well as coordination between Ghanian pilgrims and Saudi support teams if issues arise
Presence & Accessibility📍
Staff stationed at Hajj Village (Kotoka International Airport) in Accra. To add up, On-ground teams in Mecca and Medina during pilgrimage season
Safety & Security Measures🔒
Collaboration with Saudi authorities to maintain security around pilgrim groups. In addition to the safety measures briefings and support for emergency protocols
