Protocol Unit
The Protocol Unit is vital in upholding Ghana’s reputation on the global Hajj stage and ensuring a respectful, organized pilgrim experience.
The Protocols Unit ensures seamless diplomatic, ceremonial, and logistic coordination before, during, and after the pilgrimage. Their duties include:
- Facilitating smooth engagement with the Saudi Embassy and Ministry of Hajj & Umrah
- Assisting dignitaries, special delegations, and VIP pilgrims
- Coordinating airport reception and departure ceremonies
- Managing inter-governmental relationships and international Hajj affairs
- Supervising the proper conduct and appearance of Hajj Board representatives in all formal engagements
