Communication & Corporate Affairs Unit
The Communication and Corporate Affairs Unit serves as the voice and public interface of the Ghana Hajj Board. It is responsible for managing the Board’s internal and external communications, media relations, public image, and stakeholder engagement. This unit plays a strategic role in building public trust, informing the Ummah, and strengthening institutional transparency.
Core Responsibilities:
- Public Relations: Manage all press releases, interviews, media briefings, and public statements on behalf of the Hajj Board.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key partners including religious leaders, government agencies, international Hajj bodies, and community organizations.
- Media Management: Collaborate with TV, radio, print, and online media to provide timely updates on Hajj activities and important announcements.
- Website & Social Media Management: Keep the Board’s digital platforms (website, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) updated with current news, guidelines, advisories, and multimedia content.
- Branding & Public Image: Promote a unified, professional image of the Ghana Hajj Board across all public and ceremonial events.
- Crisis Communication: Lead response efforts during emergencies or misinformation by ensuring timely, factual, and coordinated communication to the public.
